Ciao!  Welcome to my blog for anything and everything related to villa rentals in Italy. For those of you who are new to this type of holiday, I hope to give you some gentle guidance. For old hands there will be plenty of news and views to keep your interest.

Firstly though, an introduction.  I’m Gillian Dearnley, the owner of One Stop Italy . We offer villa holidays in Italy with a personal touch, arranging self-catering villa, farmhouse and apartment holidays throughout Italy. We now have over 20 years’ experience in helping you find the accommodation that’s exactly right for you. Our emphasis is on friendly, personal service and over 50% of our bookings are repeats or recommendations from previous customers.

Many ‘special occasion’ holidays have been organised through us over the years, including family reunions, birthday celebrations, honeymoons and even the wedding itself!  We once  arranged an entire castle for an international pop group and its entourage as a ‘chill-out’ zone after a long world tour. (Their expenditure in the bars of the nearby village over the two month period they were in residence changed the local economy …..)
